Elana worked in the fitness industry for 8 years before completing her Masters in physical therapy at Georgia State University in 2003. After graduation, she began working in various outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings and realized she had a special interest in spinal pathologies. She has since completed various courses to increase the variety of ways she can treat the back on both land and water.

Treating patients on land for over 13 years, Elana appreciates the range of benefits the water provides to patients struggling with difficult diagnoses. The water allows her to use her creativity and various techniques available to help improve her patient’s function daily.
