Christie Austin
Physical Therapist Assistant
Christie has been over 12 years experience as PTA. She has loved the water ever since she was 3 years old when she jumped into the deep end of a pool and proved to her mom that she was born to swim. Christie was a lifeguard as a teenager and has always enjoyed water sports: swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, competitive swimming classes. She is excited to combine her passion for treating patients with her love of the water.
Christie is a very proud mom of a wonderful son and future daughter-in-law. She and her husband have a happily spoiled Bichon Frise named Romeo
Christy Aylies
Physical Therapist
Christy attended Ohio University and graduated from their physical therapy program as a licensed physical therapist. Along with aquatic therapy, Christy has worked in outpatient orthopedics, in a spine center, and as a home health physical therapist. Christy was engaged in water sports from a young age, taught swimming lessons, was a lifeguard and swam competitively through high school. She enjoys snow skiing, snorkeling, sailing, occasional scuba diving, and travel. Christy has been a resident of Sandy Springs since 2002.
Deedee Biernath
Physical Therapist Assistant
Deedee went back to school in her late 20s to pursue a career in physical therapy and has been practicing as a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2007. She has worked in a variety of settings over the years and is thrilled to have found an opportunity to combine her love of water with her love of helping people find freedom of movement.
During her free time Deedee loves to travel and spend time outdoors with family, friends, and her sidekick Dooley the Goldendoodle.
Jennifer Browning
Physical Therapist Assistant
Jennifer graduated with an Associate in Applied Technology in Physical Therapy from Athens Technical College in 2000. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia. She has experience in both the outpatient/sports medicine setting and in the home health care setting. Jennifer is married and has 2 children and 6 dogs.
Lori Cano
Physical Therapist Assistant
Lori graduated in 2015 from Chattahoochee Technical College (CTC) with an Associate of Applied Science degree and is currently a member of the academic advisory board for the PTA program. She has vast experience in many career fields with Physical Therapy being her desired career for many years. Lori has a passion for working with adults in skilled nursing rehabilitation and aquatics while holding a Certification as a Dementia Practitioner. She also has several years’ experience as an aquatic aerobics instructor and loves the unique and significant benefit of using water to improve overall health, especially for folks who suffer from orthopedic issues. In Lori’s spare time, she enjoys participating in water aerobic classes, Zumba, strength training, riding her motorcycle, as well as enjoying her young grandchildren!
Brooke Colburn
Occupational Therapist
Brooke is an Occupational Therapist (OT) who graduated in Sydney Australia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. Brooke brings over 3 decades of OT experience both with adults and pediatrics. She is a licensed and practicing OT in the United States and Australia and has a consultative role with an Australian company as their Allied Health Clinical Advisor. She has worked alongside therapists from 11 nations and is always learning from her colleagues and patients. Brooke has worked in pediatrics in the school setting doing aquatic therapy in Australia and in the outpatient setting with children with special needs in Calhoun GA where she currently resides. Her experience with adults is extensive and ranges from brain and spinal injuries, neurological conditions, orthopedics and general rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping those with movement difficulties as well as sensory impairments and challenges to improve their function.
Brooke grew up by the ocean, loves the water and believes in its healing properties for movement, pain management and enjoyment. Brooke is also a licensed Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains.
Jackie Cooper
Physical Therapist
Jackie graduated from the University of Georgia with her bachelor's degree in exercise science. While at UGA, she also ran cross-country and track became the team captain of the woman's tracks team, and receive the Marilyn Vincent Scholar-Athlete Award. Then she went on to the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her master's degree in physical therapy. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and has transferred these land base Physical Therapy skills to the water. In her free time, Jackie enjoys running and spending time with her friends and family including her husband and three children.
Teresa Dawson

Teresa grew up in Maryland, she graduated with her Masters degree in Business Administration from
Salisbury University. She went on to earn her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of
Maryland Eastern Shore. Teresa has been working as a physical therapist since 2012. Over those years
she gained a multitude of experience in a variety of disciplines including neurology, orthopedics, acute
care, wound care, and now in aquatic therapy. On her off time Teresa loves spending time with her
family, friends, and playing with her dog Cohiba. She enjoys being outdoors and loves being on the
water or at the beach.
Elana Delbeau
Physical Therapist

Elana worked in the fitness industry for 8 years before completing her Masters in physical therapy at Georgia State University in 2003. After graduation, she began working in various outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings and realized she had a special interest in spinal pathologies. She has since completed various courses to increase the variety of ways she can treat the back on both land and water. Treating patients on land for over 13 years, Elana appreciates the range of benefits the water provides to patients struggling with difficult diagnoses. The water allows her to use her creativity and various techniques available to help improve her patient’s function daily.
Caleb Ebbets
Physical Therapist
Caleb graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. While he was at UGA he was a pole vaulter on the track team and is currently 4th on the Men’s Outdoor Top-10 List. After he graduated, Caleb continued his education to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Coast University in Los Angeles, California. Caleb graduated in 2018 and gained two years of outpatient experience before transitioning over to aquatic Physical Therapy. Caleb is excited to bring his experience & sports background to aquatic Physical Therapy. In Caleb's free time he enjoys coaching at Pole Vault ATL, attending and volunteering at church, working out, going to the lake, and wakeboarding with his wife.
Julie Gabbai
Physical Therapist
Julie graduated from the University of Georgia with her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science in 2009. In 2013, she graduated from Mercer University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Julie works in the pediatric setting as well as aquatics as she loves working with people across the lifespan. She is a certified yoga instructor and incorporates this into her physical therapy to enhance their mind and body awareness. She enjoys watching her patients improve in functional skills as well as improve in the way they feel. In her own time, she loves practicing yoga, hiking and camping, and being with her family and friends.
Tara Graham
Physical Therapist Assistant
Tara has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2002. She earned her associates degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Athens Technical College and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in Psychology. She has experience in the fields of outpatient sports rehabilitation and home health care settings. Tara's love for helping others drives her to assist her patients to meet their goals. She has always loved the water and has had over 15 years of informal experience in aquatics with her use of her personal pool and years of knowledge of therapeutic exercises. She is married and has 2 children and 2 dogs.
Laura James
Physical Therapist
Laura graduated from the University of Georgia with her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science then went onto Physical Therapy school at Mercer University. She graduated in 2016 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and began work in Outpatient Orthopedics then transitioned to a focus on inpatient and outpatient brain injury rehabilitation.
She recently joined Integrated Therapy and is excited to combine her interests of orthopedic and neurologic rehab in the water and help people maximize their movement!
Outside of therapy, Laura loves to spend time being in the outdoors with her husband, two young daughters, and Goldendoodle. They enjoy hiking, going to parks and the pool, and eating Mexican food.
Angela Joseph
Physical Therapist Assistant
Angela is a licensed physical therapist assistant and received her degree in applied science physical therapy from Athens Technical College. She currently works in a variety of environments including aquatics, skilled nursing, and outpatient clinics. She is not only passionate about aquatic therapy, but also cancer-related fatigue, pulmonary rehabilitation, and lymphedema management. Angela has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012, and often incorporates manual therapy into her physical therapy practice. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish which allows her the freedom to communicate with a more diverse patient population. Angela lives in Dacula with three of her six children.
Monica Kendrick

Monica Kendrick received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Biophysics and Public Health and has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2015. She has worked in home health, outpatient, and aquatic physical therapy settings. Monica truly enjoys working with people and helping them improve their quality of life. When she is not working, Monica loves to spend time with her family.
Lauren Latta

Lauren is originally from Mobile, Alabama, and moved to Georgia in 2021. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2010, after receiving her bachelor's in Athletic Training from the University of West Alabama in 2007. She has a diverse background in acute care, outpatient, and home healthcare.
Lauren is a wife and mother of two children. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys gardening, CrossFit, and camping with her family.
Logan Louzader
Physical Therapist Assistant
Logan Graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BS in Exercise Science and a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Midlands Technical College. His background includes experience in acute and inpatient rehab. Logan grew up playing and camping on lakes and has always enjoyed physical activities. His love of sports allowed him to play Track and Field in college.
Layla Orr
Physical Therapist Assistant
Layla was raised in Savannah and currently resides in Athens, GA. She graduated in 1996 from MCG in the very last PTA class they had there. Her first physical therapy job was at the former Ty Cobb hospital in Royston. Since 1997, Layla has worked with patients in the therapy department at St Mary’s Hospital. Along with her acute care skills, she has experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Home Health Care. Layla is married with three children and their dog Khaki.
Cheryl Parellada
Physical Therapist
Cheryl graduated from Louisiana State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has worked with both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy. Achievements in her career include a promotion to Outpatient PT Director, training with McKenzie certified therapist and learning technique, and working on numerous PT teams at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. Cheryl has also extended her experience to that of homecare physical therapy. She has her Physical Therapy license in Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Cheryl is a member of the APTA and has been practicing since 1986.
Micah Presley
Physical Therapist Assistant
Micah has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant since graduating from Athens Technical College in 2013. He has worked in various settings including outpatient rehab, inpatient rehab, and home healthcare. Since transitioning to Aquatic Therapy in 2022, Micah has found that working in the water allows patients more freedom of movement while decreasing pain.
He has taken further education opportunities specifically in Aquatic Therapy to better serve his patients. When not in the water, you can find Micah spending time with his wife and four kids, traveling, camping, hiking, or working on their family farm.
Maggie Reinberger
Physical Therapist
Maggie has a Bachelor of Art from Cornell University, and received her M.S.P.T. from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) in 1987. Her first physical therapy job was in-patient rehabilitation at Moss Rehab in Philadelphia, where she was introduced to aquatic therapy. Since she moved to Georgia in 1993, she has worked in home health care, pediatrics, long term care, out-patient manual therapy, and aquatic therapy. She has worked for Integrated since January 2016.
Kristen Schertzinger

Kristen is from Cary, NC where she grew up swimming, coaching, lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, and taking trips to the beach. Her love for the water continued and she went on to swim for NC State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. After a few years of traveling and working in the resort industry and doing photography for a local publisher, she returned back to school. Kristen has been a PTA since 2011 focusing on outpatient orthopedics and is thrilled to be back in the water again. Helping people feel better and achieve their goals is the best part of her job.
Mandy Stentiford

Mandy received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2009. She has over 10 years of clinical physical therapy experience in varied settings including outpatient orthopedics and home health. Mandy finds providing optimal care for her patients and seeing their improvement to be highly rewarding. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, hiking, and playing tennis.
Phillip Thomas
Physical Therapist
Phillip Thomas, DPT, received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from North Carolina State University in 2012. He continued his education with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Radford University in Virginia. Phillip has experience working with individuals affected by Parkinson's disease, stroke, chronic low back pain, arthritis, and other orthopedic surgeries. When he isn't working, Phillip enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children, playing guitar, and restoring vintage cameras.
Kathy Wagner

Kathy graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with an Associates' degree in Physical Therapy Assistant in 1992. Since then, she has worked with a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, neurological, orthopedic, long-term care, assisted living, and home health. She is very excited about working in aquatic therapy and assisting patients to reach their full potential of healing to assist with daily activities as well as pain relief. Kathy and her husband reside in Walton County and they are blessed with 5 children.
Jamie West
Physical Therapist
Jamie is originally from Rochester, NY and received her Bachelor's degrees from Bucknell University in Psychology and Education. Jamie worked in the world of education, with children and diagnoses of all ages, before switching gears and returning to graduate school for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jamie moved to Charlotte, NC after graduation and has now been practicing in the acute care setting ever since.
Outside of work Jamie has a great interest in the outdoors, sports, spending time with her family/friends, and traveling. Her husband, Rob, is Australian and between the two of them, they have traveled to over 35 different countries! Jamie also has a young son named Brooks and a 75-pound Goldendoodle named Loki who are the best of friends.
Jamie grew up on lakes, both at her sleep-away summer camp and at her family cottage in Quebec, Canada, where she developed a deep love for the water. She has spent her whole life enjoying water sports (i.e. wake boarding, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, etc.) as well as spending the summers teaching other kids the joy that water has to offer.

Amy Alexander

Amy is from McDonough, Georgia and is the mother of four. She has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for over 10 years. Her love for helping and inspiring others to achieve their individual goals and improve their quality of life led her to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Amy completed her Bachelor of Science at Mercer University then relocated to Athens to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Athens Technical College. Since becoming a licensed PTA, Amy has worked in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics; however, aquatic therapy is her favorite healing modality to work with and experience. Amy's passion for health and wellness is exhibited in her love for the outdoors through running, biking, and swimming.
Quentin Bibbs

Quentin is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant that has been practicing since 2007. He is a college graduate of Northeast, Pearl River, and the University of Southern Mississippi. Quentin has practiced in many therapy settings including outpatient rehab, SNF, LTAC, STAC, inpatient rehab, home healthcare and also has a background in sports medicine. He has witnessed the benefits and healing abilities of aquatic therapy while treating athletes in sports medicine and patients in outpatient physical therapy. Quentin has taken and completed various courses and training to advance his knowledge in PT with a focus in orthopedics, balance and musculoskeletal deficits. Quentin enjoys traveling, outdoors, participating in athletic activities and attending sporting events in his spare time.
Rachel Biller

Rachel joined Integrated Therapy after leaving private practice in outpatient orthopedics. She has served the community of Alpharetta since graduating with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Georgia in 1998. She has focused her post-graduate studies on mechanical diagnosis of the spine with the McKenzie Institute and manual therapy techniques through the Maitland approach. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with a focus on nutrition and community health from George Mason University in Virginia. Rachel is committed to helping her patients achieve their goals in all areas of wellness.
Keri Bruno
Physical Therapist Assistant
Keri's history in the pool started years ago as a competitive swimmer, lifeguard and swim team coach in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a degree in Biology and after several years of work in various fields, decided to stay home with her first child. After having her second child, she decided to take a new path and graduated with her Associates in Health Science from Nash Community College in 2011. She has been focusing her continuing education courses in aquatics and has been certified by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for the water with her patients and finding creative ways to reduce pain and improve their lives. She enjoys making pottery in her free time and currently lives in Raleigh with her husband and two daughters.
Laura Clemons
Physical Therapist
Laura graduated from Ohio University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. She began her career at Emory University with a primary focus on the neurologic population and manual therapy. She has since worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating a variety of injuries as well as providing geriatric care at assisted living facilities. Laura has also provided equine-assisted therapy for a non-profit organization and helped bring teams to the Special Olympics.
She has been certified in Power Pilates and is currently providing therapeutic-based Pilates on land as well as aquatic therapy. She believes that a variety of movement is essential to restoring function.
Laura enjoys traveling, hiking, and paddle boarding with her daughter, son, husband, and two dogs in her free time.
Margaret Cook
Physical Therapist
Margaret Cook is an honor graduate of Georgia Tech, receiving her BS in Applied Biology. She received her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She has practiced physical therapy in both worker's compensation and outpatient rehab settings, and she's taken further coursework in McKenzie and Women's Health. She’s been drawn to the water since she started swimming at age 3 and became certified in SCUBA at age 12. She loves that water provides the freedom to move and develop strength with less pain, while it simultaneously helps with circulation and balance. Margaret values a whole-body approach to healing, which she found was an essential component in her recovery from Lyme disease, and which can also be invaluable in other disorders which cause inflammation and joint pain. She lives in Atlanta with her husband of and their 3 children.
Donald Crump
Physical Therapist Assistant
Donald earned an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy from Chattahoochee Technical College and an Associate Degree in Business Management from CCAC. Donald was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. He began working in the physical therapy field in 2017 and has worked in aquatic, inpatient, outpatient and neuro settings. He enjoys playing basketball, racquetball, billiards, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. Donald finds fulfillment in helping people reach their health goals through physical therapy.
Candice Dela Cruz
Physical Therapist
Candice started her physical therapy career in her home county, the Philippines. She left her Chief PT post at one of the premier hospitals in the country to embark on a career in the US. Candice spent more than 10 years in geriatric care, complementing her clinical knowledge and skills with a specialization in cognitive behavioral therapy in pain management. Working in aquatic therapy has become an excellent avenue for her to utilize her extensive experience as a PT and give her clients the world-renowned Filipino TLC. When off work, she enjoys quiet days with her partner Deedra, and their furchildren MiMi, AhBee, and Jessica.
Ledena DeWitt
Physical Therapist Assistant
Ledena graduated with her Bachelors of Art degree from the University at Buffalo in 2012, initially pursuing a career in graphic advertising. She later found her true calling as a Physical Therapist Assistant; graduating Summa Cum Laude with an Associates of Science in 2017 from Central Penn College. She has worked with pediatrics in the home health setting, as-well-as various experience in outpatient, skilled nursing, independent and assisted living facilities. Ledena currently resides in Clayton, NC with her husband, daughter and 2 huskies. In her free time she enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts, being active outdoors and playing sports. She is excited to bring her creativity to the aquatic therapy setting!
Lori Ewing

Lori is originally from Tifton Georgia where she received her Associate Degree in Science in 1987 from ABAC in Tifton and then her Bachelor of PT from MCG in Augusta in 1989. She worked in both inpatient and outpatient Rehab from 1989 to 1997 treating neurologically involved and other complex rehab patients. During that time Lori developed the aquatic therapy program at her rehab clinic. Since 1997 she has worked with St Mary's Home Health Care in Athens, GA covering multiple counties and treating a variety of patients with multiple and complex diagnoses from ages 1 to 100. Pool therapy has always been a passion of hers and she has always recommended it as part of her patient's home program due to the tremendous benefits of rehabilitation and recovery. Lori lives in Walton County with her 2 children where she enjoys working in her yard, gardening, scrapbooking, and traveling.
Anniz Gonzalez

Anniz was raised in Dalton, GA where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and minor in psychology from Dalton State College. In 2019, she graduated with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Chattahoochee Technical College. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has experience working with adults, geatric, and pediatric patients. Anniz currently resides in Marietta, GA with her husband and puppy. She enjoys traveling, making jewelry out of polymer clay, calligraphy, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mal Hulacka-Tozin
Physical Therapist
Malgorzata "Mal" was raised in Poland, where she graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Language from the University of Opole. She is bilingual in both English and Polish.
Malgorzata moved to New York City and established herself in a management role in the health and fitness industry. In 2021, she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College. She began her career in acute care in one of New York's leading hospitals where she treated patients in general medicine and surgical units including orthopedic, vascular, abdominal, neurological, and oncology.
Malgorzata recently moved to Charlotte and is excited to start a new adventure and explore North Carolina with her family.
Jennifer Jones
Physical Therapist
Jennifer Jones, DPT, is a native of Huntington, West Virginia. Her parents are both physical therapists, so she saw the benefits of physical therapy firsthand through the impact they had on their patients.
Jennifer earned Bachelor's degree in Biology and Health Sciences from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where her studies focused on Dr. Stanley Paris's manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue and joint mobilization as well as myofascial release. She has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics, treating a variety of patients, including post-operative rehab, sports injuries, and facilitating return to sports program for athletes. Jennifer enjoys treating patients with all types of musculoskeletal problems. She incorporates her advanced coursework in kinesiotaping and Leukotaping, Total Motion Release, Kevin Wilk's treatment of shoulder and knee injuries, and the Sara Meeks Method of postural correction for patients with osteoporosis, into her practice. She continues to expand her knowledge base and clinical skills through ongoing continuing education.
Jennifer enjoys practicing Yoga and Pilates, playing tennis and soccer, and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities while living near Lake Norman. She also remains a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Kelli Keaton
Physical Therapist Assistant
Kelli completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2015. From there, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from the University of St. Augustine, located in Austin, Texas. After moving to North Carolina, she worked in the home care setting treating a wide variety of patients. Kelli’s love of being in the water started from a young age - she grew up in Virginia Beach spending most of her summer days either in the pool or at the beach. Participating in the swim team from age 5 through high school, she is extremely comfortable in the water and is excited to work with patients in this setting. Since planting roots in Apex with her husband and young daughter, she loves to travel, hike, and spend quality time with friends and family.
Mary Lanter
Physical Therapist
Mary is originally from Michigan and received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Exercise Science, and her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. She has been a practicing therapist for 20 years with experience in various settings including outpatient orthopedics, home care, and SNF/Rehab facilities. She has spent the last 14 years mostly working with the geriatric population. Her special certifications include Pilates, Vestibular Rehab and Balance, and Women’s Health and Incontinence. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her spoiled rescue dog, Maggie. She also enjoys dancing, hiking, traveling, going to the beach, trying out new restaurants and wineries. She is looking forward to exploring all that North Carolina has to offer and bringing the best patient care to the Charlotte area.
Troy Lockamy
Physical Therapist Assistant
Troy was born and raised in eastern North Carolina and moved to Raleigh in 2014. He has been practicing physical therapy in many settings since 2001 but found his love for treating patients in aquatic therapy. He has become passionate about seeing the positive results aquatic therapy has provided to his patients and knowing he has helped people get back to active lives. Away from the pool, Troy enjoys getting around North Carolina trying new restaurants and wineries.
Kathryn Nabulsi
Physical Therapist
Kathryn graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the South in 2000, where she also played tennis for the Sewanee Tigers. In 2004 she received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient neuro and inpatient rehab. She has also taken further coursework in vestibular rehabilitation. Rapunzel Pampilo

Filipina Rapunzel Pampilo graduated from Silliman University in the Philippines. Since her teenage years, her utmost dream has been to move to the United States and establish a career that involves caring for people. That dream became a reality and now she does not only carry her beautiful smile every day and everywhere, she also exudes confidence in the skill-set that she has meticulously developed through years of physical therapy practice. She delivers her unique physical therapy skills to her patients in the most compassionate and empathic way. She has a total of almost 20 years of PT experience, working in different settings. When she is not providing therapy to her patients, she can be most assuredly found in a pool gliding through the water like it's a walk in the park. She also has a penchant for dogs and loves her own immensely. She lives with her husband and their beautiful ShiTzu in the suburbs of Oconee County, Georgia.
Sonal Patel
Physical Therapist Assistant
Sonal graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Health and Exercise Science and earned an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Sonal has worked at an acute care facility where she assisted in building the exercise program for group therapy for elective joint replacement. She has a tremendous love of the water and helping people improve their quality of life. Sonal has two lovely children who keeps her on her toes at all times.
Kathleen Reese
Physical Therapist
Kathleen began her post-graduate career working with caseloads including outpatient pediatrics, inpatient and outpatient orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation. Kathleen has worked in home health as well as served as the primary therapist in a nursing facility. Most recently, she worked with general orthopedic and neurological, back pain, and balance deficit patients at an outpatient therapy clinic. Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from the University of Connecticut.
Cheri Rourk
Physical Therapist
Cheri graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She attended the Physical Therapy school at the University of North Florida, graduating in 1994. She has worked in all settings including acute, rehab, sub-acute, outpatient, and home health. Being a Florida girl, aquatic therapy is her favorite. Cheri is married to her husband, Mike. Together they have two very energetic boys, Jack and Caleb.
Martha Soyars
Physical Therapist
Martha is a native North Carolinian and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992.
She has worked in aquatic therapy settings within the rehabilitation hospital before coming to Integrated Therapy and enjoys treating patients across the continuum of care including in-patient rehab, out-patient rehabilitation, acute care, skilled nursing & home health.
Martha has specialties in Parkinson's Disease, post-stroke, amputee, and vestibular rehabilitation. She is LSVT BIG Certified. She is also a PT research consultant for the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at NCSU/UNC-Chapel Hill Medicine. Martha enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband and 2 adult children.
Lindy Taylor
Physical Therapist Assistant
Lindy was raised in the mountains of North Carolina but moved East to pursue her Physical Therapy degree. She has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 1994 primarily serving people in Home Health, CCRC's, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and outpatient therapy. Lindy is very excited to bring her experience and love of helping others regain their strength and mobility in order to live full and active lives to the aquatic setting. Lindy lives in Wake Forest with her husband, 2 teenage sons, her dog Gabby and her ferocious feline, Mr. Sparkles.
Alyssa Trulove
Physical Therapist
Alyssa received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Georgia State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. She completed a long-term internship at Tender One's Therapy Services where she discovered her love and passion for working with children. Alyssa continues to work for Tender One's Therapy Services as an aquatic and land pediatric PT. Alyssa and her colleague started paddleboarding aquatic therapy at the lake in the summer of 2015. This year Alyssa ran a paddleboarding PT/OT therapy camp with another OT. Alyssa is the Assistant Academic Clinical Coordinator at Georgia State University. She co-founded and is president Eduglobal Alumni Advisory Board which mentors students in international clinical education. In addition, she served on a medical physical therapy mission trip to Nicaragua in 2017. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling the world, paddleboarding, hiking, tennis, running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, especially her Maltese dog, Magdelina.
Elizabeth Wallace

Liz is a North Carolina native and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. She continued her education with a Masters of Physical Therapy at Winston-Salem State University. After completing her degrees, she has worked with the geriatric population focusing on orthopedics, neuro and pain management rehabilitation. Prior to joining the Integrated Therapy team, Liz served as a rehab director of an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Her passion is helping people get back to life and she continues to exemplify best patient care. Liz currently resides in Knightdale, NC and lives with her husband, Jason and son, Ethan.
